Apollo Partner Launch Webinar

Heidi presented Apollo's new partner launch webinar, explaining that the company is now live on the First Connect portal with 12% commission rates for new and renewal business. She outlined Apollo's coverage limitations, accepting only personal auto insurance with specific ID requirements and underwriting criteria, including vehicle age limits of up to 40 years for liability and 25 years for collision coverage. Heidi detailed three program options - Apollo MGA, Apollo Select, and Apollo New Star - each with different discount structures, including a unique warehouse option that allows customers without proof of prior insurance to receive a 25% discount with SAMS or Costco card verification.

Policy Documentation Requirements Overview

Arianna Sanchez outlined the required documentation for policy uploads, emphasizing that photos of vehicles and proof of prior insurance are the most critical requirements. She noted that while proof of prior insurance typically needs to be uploaded upfront, there is currently a 30-day grace period for the loyalty discount. Arianna also detailed acceptable forms of identification, including government-issued documents for foreign IDs, and specified that Texas IDs must be current while foreign IDs can be expired.

Apollo Insurance System Training Session

The meeting focused on training agents on the Apollo insurance quoting and policy management system. Carlos demonstrated how to create quotes, process applications, and manage policies through the system, including handling different types of identification documents and coverage options. Heidi clarified that US-issued IDs must be current while foreign IDs can be expired, and explained a small loophole with foreign IDs that could potentially allow undetected issues to pass through. The team announced a promotional offer of $10 per application for the first 30 days for new agents who sign up within 10 business days of the webinar, and confirmed that the Apollo tile in the First Connect portal would be available for agent appointment requests.
