The host provided a demonstration on how to navigate the portal and access GreenShield, noting that the product is live and commissions are posted. The session was recorded and will be available in the Resource Center, with Kim and Jason from the GreenShield team available to answer questions during a live Q&A session.

Guardian Elite Homeowners Insurance Program

Jason presented the Guardian Elite Homeowners program, a high-value homeowners insurance product available in California and Colorado. The program focuses on owner-occupied properties with a $300,000 to $500,000 liability limit, offering standard coverage with options for increased water damage limits. Jason emphasized the importance of property mitigation in reducing wildfire risks and outlined the program's coverage limits, deductibles, and distribution through First Connect. He also committed to providing fast turnaround times for quotes, aiming for a 24 to 48-hour response time.

Builders Risk and Investor Programs

Kimberly Norris, VP of Wholesale, explained their Builders Risk program's coast-to-coast coverage for both commercial and residential properties, including midterm and ground-up construction. She also detailed their Real Estate Investor program for properties with 5 or more units and their REO portfolio program, which can cover 1-4 unit dwellings, condo units, or up to 20-unit apartment buildings. Jason emphasized the importance of submitting all requests through First Connect and mentioned a supplemental form for the Guardian Elite program, which speeds up the process. Both programs offer nationwide coverage with aggressive turnaround times, especially if they can secure first look.

Guardian Elite Program Expansion Plans

Jason and Kimberly discussed the Guardian Elite program, which is currently limited to California and Colorado, with plans to expand to other states including the Southeast and Western regions. They clarified that the program accepts townhomes written as HO3 policies, but not HO6s, and allows properties owned by trusts and LLCs for real estate purposes. Jason mentioned that a wildfire risk assessment tool will be available before the end of the year, and they confirmed that wind coverage is available in Florida for both the Builders Risk and Real Estate Investor Programs. The team also addressed submission processes, minimum and maximum coverage limits, and competition in the high-value market, emphasizing their unique underwriting model and upcoming digital improvements.

Green Shield Home Insurance Launch

The meeting focused on discussing the launch of Green Shield's high-value home insurance product, which is currently available only in California and Colorado. Jason and Kimberly addressed various questions from attendees, including installation of leak detection devices, classification of construction projects, and payment options at binding. They clarified that mortgagee billing is available at binding, and explained the process for submitting quotes through the Green Shield portal. The team also discussed inspection requirements, update needs for older properties, and the handling of prior catastrophe claims. The conversation ended with a reminder that the recording and resources would be posted in the Resource Center for reference.
