To report a policy using Cash Connect, follow these simple steps:
- Log in to your First Connect portal.
- From the left-hand menu, select “Cash Connect.”
- In the pop-out tab, click on “Incentives and Performance.”
This will take you to the current reporting quarter where you can begin submitting your newly bound policies.
Reporting a Policy
- Select the carrier the policy was bound with from the dropdown menu.
- Enter the bind date — this is the date the policy was sold.
- Enter the policy number and the total policy premium.
- Enter the effective date — the date the policy goes into effect.
- Click “Report Bind” to submit the policy to the portal.

- I forgot to report a policy from last quarter. Can I still submit it?
No, Cash Connect only accepts policies bound in the current quarter. To ensure timely reporting, we recommend submitting policies on the same day they are sold. - Can I report renewals or Agent of Record (AOR) transfers?
No, Cash Connect is currently only for reporting newly bound policies. - The carrier I used isn't listed in the dropdown. What should I do?
If the carrier is missing from the list, please contact our support team. We may need to enable that carrier for your First Connect portal. - How can I see the policies I’ve already reported?
To view the policies you've submitted in Cash Connect, click on “Show Reports” from the Cash Connect screen. This will display all policies you have reported during the current quarter. - I just entered a policy but noticed an error. Can I correct it?
Yes, you can make corrections to policies submitted in the current quarter. To do this:
Go to your Cash Connect page and select “Show Reports.”
Find the policy you'd like to edit and click the pencil icon on the right-hand side.
Update the necessary details and click “Save Changes” to ensure the updates are reflected in the portal.
Note: Policies submitted in a prior quarter cannot be edited. Always double-check your entries before the quarter closes.
