King Partnership Commission Overview

McKenzie, a strategic partnerships manager at First Connect, introduced the King team and discussed the opportunity to partner with them. She explained that King offers 8% commissions for both new and renewal business in manufactured and mobile homes, and their portal is currently live. McKenzie provided a step-by-step guide on how to request access to King's portal and emphasized the importance of reviewing their appetite before submitting the request. She also mentioned that the session was recorded and would be available in the Resource Center for those who couldn't attend live.
 

King Insurance: Manufactured Home Coverage

Jessica introduced King, a specialty insurance MGA focused on niche personal and commercial lines programs, particularly manufactured housing. She outlined key eligibility criteria for their ENS Manufactured Homeowner program, including rules on brush clearance, prior insurance history, protection class, and home age. Jessica explained coverage options and discounts available, emphasizing the importance of updates to plumbing and roof systems. She concluded by highlighting the user-friendly platform and various payment plans offered.
 

Quote System Demonstration Overview

Selene, the underwriting manager, demonstrated the process of starting a quote in the system. She guided participants through entering client information, selecting coverage options, and generating a quote. The demonstration included steps for editing quotes, sending them for signatures, and binding policies. Selene explained that once a quote is sent for signatures, it cannot be edited, and re-quoting would be necessary if changes are needed. She also mentioned that the system offers paperless and electronic signatures, as well as options for receiving documents via email or mail.
 

Insurance Policy and Procedure Overview

The meeting focused on answering questions about insurance policies and procedures. Jessica and Selene provided information on various topics, including RAC providers, prior insurance policies, and payment plans. They explained that the system will automatically decline addresses that don't meet requirements and outlined the options for payment plans. The team discussed the use of a cost estimator tool and the flexibility in adjusting replacement costs. They also addressed questions about referrals, credit card fees, and special considerations for different types of properties. King Portal Onboarding and Access
