RT Connector Platform Launch Demo

McKenzie launched RT Connector in the First Connect portal with 12% commission rates for new and renewal business, and demonstrated the platform's access process through the carrier store. Frank Servideo, Vice President of Business Solutions at RT Connector, introduced the team and provided a detailed walkthrough of the platform's features, including its online quoting, binding, and issuance capabilities for retail agents. The presentation covered product offerings, access methods (direct and upcoming API integration), and included a live demo of the platform's interface and quote process for general liability coverage.

Risk Information System Demonstration

Frank demonstrated a risk information system, explaining how to add and manage locations using the plus and X buttons, and noting that address line 2 should only include unit numbers while the main address line should not. He showed how the system displays variable questions based on location and class code selections, with mandatory fields that default to favorable responses. Frank also explained that while the system handles surplus lines taxes and filings as a wholesaler, carriers may not offer all requested coverage options, with differences highlighted on the quote screen.

RT Connector Process Overview

Kenji explained the process for accessing the RT Connector, including registration instructions and E&O document requirements for appointed agents. Frank added that First Connect can expedite access for already appointed agents. The discussion then focused on the quote submission process in the RT Connector, including how to compare quotes, view differences from the requested coverage, and navigate through the system to select and process a quote. The process was demonstrated step-by-step, covering affidavit management, DocuSign electronic signatures, and the final policy issuance, with emphasis on the "sign before bind" workflow and real-time signature tracking capabilities.
