Quick ways to match risks with the right markets in your First Connect portal
1. Use the Appetite Finder
The Appetite Finder is often the fastest way to identify carriers that may write a specific type of risk.

Navigate to the Appetite Finder on the left-hand side of your First Connect portal.

Answer a few brief questions about the risk.
The system will generate a list of carriers that have an appetite for that type of business.

2. Explore Carrier Resources
The Carrier Store in your First Connect portal provides valuable resources from our carrier partners.

Go to the Carrier Store via the left-hand navigation menu.

Select a carrier, then click on the Resources tab.
Here you’ll find underwriting guides, appetite overviews, and more to help you determine if that carrier is a fit for your risk.
3. Contact the Carrier Directly
Still unsure if a carrier is the right fit?
You can contact the carrier’s underwriting team directly for clarification.

Follow the same steps above to access the Carrier Store and select Resources.

The underwriting contact information will be listed in that section—please note that you’ll only see contact details for carriers you currently have access to.
