THREE Insurance Agent Training Seminar

The meeting was a training seminar for small business agents presented by the THREE team, including Josh Klar, Brandon Bauer, and Courtney. Josh introduced THREE as a comprehensive insurance provider backed by Berkshire Hathaway Direct with A++ rating, offering a single policy covering business liability, property, commercial auto, cyber incidents, and workers' compensation. The company currently operates in 29 states, including recently launched coverage in Kentucky, and plans to expand to additional states in the coming years.
 

Company Expansion and Insurance Plans

Brandon discussed the company's expansion plans, stating they are working on entering 6 additional states and expect to be in 35 states by the end of the year. He explained their all-in-one insurance policy design, which provides broad coverage in plain English and includes seven coverage buckets: business liability, business interruption, property, auto, cyber liability, and first-party incident response. Brandon also outlined the company's appetite for risks, noting they write a broad spectrum of businesses with a sweet spot for contracts up to $15,000 in premium, and they have created a specialized underwriting team for more complex hospitality and LRO risks.
 

Agent Portal and Policy Servicing

Josh presented an overview of the Agent Portal and policy servicing options available through 3. He explained the submission outcomes process, which includes approved, referred, and declined statuses, and highlighted the transparency features like the underwriting results tab and appetite guide. Josh also introduced My3Online, a new secure policyholder portal that provides policyholders with 24/7 access to manage their policies, and outlined additional resources available to agents, including the Agent Portal onboarding guide and keyword eligibility guide. The session concluded with an invitation for attendees to submit questions via Q&A.
